Common questions about GE HealthCare Venue ultrasound machines

Do the Venue Fit and Venue Go offer AI guidance for cardiac imaging?

Yes, as an option on both. Caption Guidance gives AI-driven, turn-by-turn on-screen guidance for acquiring cardiac views, and it carries its own FDA clearance, K243065.

On both systems, DICOM Web and the patient QR code feature are available only with the Caption Guidance option key.

Can probes be changed on a Venue system while it is running?

Yes. On both the Venue Fit and the Venue Go, probes can be connected or changed with the system on or off. Each RS probe connector locks, with a latch on the Venue Fit and a lever on the Venue Go.

When were the Venue Go and the Venue Fit introduced?

GE introduced the Venue Go in 2019, the year of its first FDA clearance, and unveiled the Venue Fit on 30 March 2021.
