For vendors
Buyers describe the ultrasound system they need in one request, and the verified vendors who receive it quote against each other to supply it.
If you sell, refurbish, service or rent diagnostic ultrasound equipment, you can apply to quote.
How a request reaches you
A buyer submits a request
Every request gives one or more transactions the buyer wants (new, preowned or rental) and a delivery ZIP, and says whether the system is portable or cart-based. The buyer may also add a specialty, a preferred model or “open to equivalents”, the probes they need, a trade-in and notes.
You receive the request
Only verified vendors receive requests, and each one sent to you is in your vendor account.
You send a quote
You quote what you can supply, which may be a close equivalent. Its software level, licensed options and probes must be as they are on the serial you offer, and misstating them is grounds for removal.
A quote must carry a price and a condition, and the rest is yours to fill in. When the quotes are for the same model, the buyer compares them on these rows.
What a quote states
- Price
- The quoted price for the configuration you are offering.
- Warranty
- Its length, in months.
- Probes included
- Which transducers ship with the system.
- Condition and year
- New, preowned or rental (one the buyer asked for), and the model year.
- Inspection
- A reference for the inspection, if there is one.
- Service coverage
- Whether you cover the buyer’s area.
- Delivery and install
- What is included and what is not.
The buyer compares quotes
The buyer sees the quotes side by side and replies to the vendors they choose.
Trying to identify or contact a buyer before they reply to you ends your participation.
What you see of the buyer
You see what the buyer needs, and learn who they are only if they reply to your quote.
- A request carries
- Its specification and the first three digits of the delivery ZIP, under its request number
- Not shown to you
- The buyer’s name, email or budget
- The buyer’s notes
- Shown when the buyer chooses to share them with vendors
- If the buyer replies to your quote
- Their name, email and message, to you and to no other vendor on the same request
What vendors are held to
A quote stands until its date
A new quote stands for 14 days unless you set another date. While quoting is open you can correct or withdraw it; once quoting closes, you cannot change it. A price that changes after a buyer replies is grounds for removal.
FDA-cleared equipment
You quote FDA-cleared equipment only. The catalog lists cleared models, and a machine you quote from outside it must be cleared too.
Trade-ins
Vendors will see your trade-in and can price it into their quote.
How to join
You apply with the application form. Vendors are verified before they can quote, and we answer every application by email. If you are verified, that email carries the link that sets up your vendor account.
If you already have a vendor account, you quote from it on the requests sent to you.
